 Le Vent Vert Kokyo is a ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) on a lakeshore in a location overflowing with greenery. Here, you can savor delicious, heartfelt cuisine made by hand from seasonal ingredients.

Have a luxurious space in the natural world all to yourself
Le Vent Vert Kokyo has large public baths with water that continually flows from the source, as well as five rotenburo (open-air baths) with views of Akaya Lake that can be reserved for private usage . If you listen carefully, you can hear the chirping of songbirds. You can also enjoy the changing seasons from the rotenburo and experience the natural world of Gunma.

Reserved rotenburo

 All five rotenburo can be reserved for private usage, so you can bathe at your preferred time during your stay.
 Gaze at Akaya Lake below as you are mesmerized by the scenery that changes throughout the four seasons, enjoy becoming one with nature, and feel the exhaustion of travel melt away.

Large public baths

  You can use the large public baths, with water that flows continually from the source, at any time during your stay.
 There are two types: the tiled baths have a relaxing atmosphere, and the rock baths make you feel as if you are in a cave.
 These baths are used on a rotating basis according to the time, so you can enjoy both during your stay.

The views from your guest room are one of the most enjoyable parts of travel, and Akaya Lake offers splendid scenery in all four seasons.

 The relaxing Japanese-style rooms on the lake side feature fantastic views.
 The spacious corner rooms offer panoramic views of Lake Akaya. Other unique rooms are also available.
 There’s something to see and enjoy during all four seasons.
 Some rooms also include sunken kotatsu (heated tables).

Kaiseki cuisine made by the head chef

 At Le Vent Vert Kokyo, we are dedicated to serving cuisine made from local ingredients produced in Gunma Prefecture.
 Our main dishes feature Joshu Beef, fine-quality beef that is a registered trademark.
 We add a touch of Japanese style to ratatouille, a popular and classic dish from the south of France.
 We hope you will enjoy our creative kaiseki (Japanese haute cuisine) made by hand from local ingredients that aren’t available in the city.

We also accommodate special orders and serve breakfast.
